Next Generation Energy Storage without Lithium – No Fire Hazard

Operates and Charges at Freezing Temperatures

Charges at the Same Time it Takes to Fill Your Gas Tank.

Over 500 Years of Daily Charges

Coconut Creek, Florida January 11, 2024: Blue Horizon Innovations (BHI) is developing the Dense Energy Ultra-Cell (DEUC) technology which is a solid-state ceramic energy storage technology that promotes a sustainable environment and addresses important global needs. The DEUC is a dielectric energy storage device that does not use lithium, cobalt or rare earth materials.

Don’t get caught out in the cold!

As an energy storage ceramic capacitor, The DEUC has been tested in a environmental chamber to demonstrate performance, energy storage and charge ability between -50C to 145C with energy storage. With no electrolyte, the DEUC easily charges at freezing temperatures.

The DEUC energy storage capacitor charges in about the same time it takes to fill the tank in your car.

The DEUC is a solid-state energy storage device based on a ceramic capacitor design with energy density greater than a lithium-ion battery. The DEUC provides rapid charge times and an estimated 200,000 recharge cycles.  If charged every day, that’s over 500 years of recharge cycles. The DEUC element (energy storage capacitor) provides an output voltage of up to 48vdc as opposed to lithium batteries with an output of 4vdc.

The DEUC can be manufactured using existing capacitor production processes that reduce production costs and provides a rapid go-to-market strategy.
